Thank you to all the folks who stopped to donate to the many lions who were stationed all around town. Thanks to your generosity, we had a successful fund raiser and will be able to assist needy folks with eye glasses and hearing aids through the coming year. Friday and Saturday The 13th and 14th of October was the only time this year that the Geneseo Lions Solicited funds from the general public. Lions from across Illinois were on the street. The Geneseo Lions provide glasses and hearing aids to many needy people in the Geneseo-Cambridge-Atkinson area. Additionally we provide about a dozen electronic vision enhancement devices to people with severe vision loss. Funds we receive from this drive will allow us to continue this service to the community.
