June  2  This will be our last meeting at the Community Center as we will be having just one meeting per month starting in July. Please remember to thank those ladies who have been preparing and serving our meals.

June 10 All members are asked to participate at our Ice Cream Social and bring 3 pies ,cakes or other desserts.

Diabetes Awareness Days were held May 23 &24. and we raised $675 for the American Diabetes Association. Co-Chairman Don Wheeler & Bill Dial want to thank Joetta Folker,6 from Helping Hands Club and 7 Lions who helped on those days.

Las Vegas -- I want to thank Betty Lamb & Sandy Griffin for helping with the prizes . Also a big thank you to the eight Lions, three family members, and Dick & Kathy Sellers (& grandson) who  all helped at Winning Wheels.

Carolyn Griffin is  recovering fron knee surgery and has been working very hard getting the parade set up. Much help will be needed that day.

President's Corner

I would like to thank the club members who went to Vegas Night at Winning Wheels. We made a lot of people very happy and also lifted our spirits. We had a couple from Coal Valley who came to help and brought their grandson.

Father's Day is coming up, so everyone needs to remember the Ice Cream social and Parade. That week really requires everyone to step up to the plate and help out . Ask Keith or Carolyn how you can help.
