RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE

The blood drive May 1 is being dedicated in Les Griffin's Memory and we hope to have a record number of donations. Help is needed so please call Carolyn Griffin to volunteer. There are some heavy tables to be moved and we hope it won't be necessary to go to a near-by restaurant to find some MAN-power as this was the case in March.

FLOWER SALES

Please remember to contact Jim Humphrey at 944-3203 by April 4 to give him the number of flower orders you have so far. Also let him know when you will be able to help deliver flowers.

SELL-SELL-SELL

The Parade comittee reports that the theme for this year's parade is "Generations Down On The Farm"They are searching for a Surrey for the parade that seats. 9 people. Please call Carolyn Griffin  944-6059 if you have any information.

PRESIDENT'S CORNER

We have two important events to keep in mind:Rose Days!! Jim Humphrey will be out of town until Sunday April 13th. He needs all sales tickets delivered to the house. Elaine will be home in evenings, otherwise, drop money and tickets in envelope through mail slot in front door. Jim will also need help with delivery.

On May 1st, we have a Red Cross blood drive. This is a very special blood drive done in memory of Les Griffin, it recognizes his dedication to the blood drive. A door prize will also be given. Let's all do what we can to support this!

I also would like to extendour sympathy to the family of Les Griffin. Lester's mother recently passed away, and in this already trying time I would like them to know our thoughts are with them.
