BLOOD DRIVE

LUNCH WAGON

We are taking the lunch wagon  out 2 days this month. Contact Carolyn  at 944-6059 or
Jim Humphrey at 944-3203 to see if more help is needed.

MEETINGS

Starting in September of this year, there will  only be one dinner meeting a month.  This will be on the third  Monday of each month and be held at the Concordia
Church. The board meeting will be the following Tuesday night at the Geneseo library.

Jim Humphrey announced that the Geneseo Lion's club has joined the Geneseo
Chamber of Commerce. 

Nominating committee should be meeting and a slate of officers presented to
the club soon. Check on the date it is needed.

Mush Kojima

The Lion's of Illinois lost a  great member last week, He will be greatly missed.His funeral was attended by many Lion Members from all parts of Illinois. Van Stone  represented the Foundation and gave a fine tribute at the services.Our thoughts and prayers are with Carol and the family.

President's Corner

I hope everyone is having a great year so far.I think we all will feel a lot better when this never-ending winter is over!!  We have a few projects coming up.We have the RedCross Blood Drive,Rose Day, and The Father's Day Parade.Please contact those involved and see how you can lend a hand.
