RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE

This will be the last blood drive of the year. We could use some help from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Contact Les or Carolyn at 944-6059 to volunteer.

NEW MEMBERS NIGHT

The October 15 Lions meeting had several guests attending. Region Chairman, Leon Martin, gave us an update on District 1-H news and events. Lion Sandy conducted  a presentation on Geneseo Lions’ projects to inform prospective members of what the Lions are about. Lion Sandy’s presentation on local activities and Lion Leon’s update on District, State and International programs gave members and  three prospective members a good idea of what Lions do for the community. 

SICK BAY

Lion Ray Wirth recently had a mild heart attack and had a stint put in. Lion Ray is home and doing well.

PRESIDENT’S CORNER

I thank the members that brought guests to our Prospective Members Night and a special thanks to Lion Sandy Griffin for a great program. I want to thank all the volunteers that helped with Candy Day and will have a report on that project at a later date. I also want to remind you all that we need help with the blood drive.
