FUNNEL CAKE STAND

We will be at this venue from 10AM to 5PM on the 4th of July. This will be our inaugural for our new gas fired funnel cake cooker, come out and enjoy the fun.

RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE

This will be our first drive of the new Lion’s year. Call Les or Carolyn 944 6059 to help or donate blood.

LION’S INSTALLATION DINNER 

This meeting will be July 16th at the Concordia Church. Social hour starts at 6PM with dinner at 6:30. Spouses and guests are invited. A special meal will be provided at a cost of $10 per meal. All members are urged to attend and welcome our new officers and thank our officers from last year. You will also meet our 2007 scholarship recipients. You will be contacted for reservations.

LION’S ICE CREAM SOCIAL 

The social was a big success . Thanks to all who donated who donated pies and cakes or worked to make it a success.

FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND

HOT! HOT! HOT! Crowds seemed to be smaller than in the past, but everything went well and the Parade was fantastic as usual (photos are on the website).

PRESIDENT’S CORNER

I can not believe that my year of serving as Pres of our club is very near the end.For the most part I have had an enjoyable year. We have met or surpassed our many goals and projects with a very large amount of work and dedication. In looking back over the year, much of this hard work is done by the same people,year after year.We all need to be more involved.Whether helping in the lunch stand or baking a pie,helping with vision & hearing screening .helping with the blood drive,clean-up on the highway or any other projects ,we need  to remember " WE SERVE".
Remember Installation on July 16. Please come and show support for our new officers. It is not to late to volunteer and live up to our motto and SERVE by doing.
A big thank you to the Parade Committee for a great job and lots of hard work. Thanks to all who made Father's Day Week-end a success.
