RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE

This is one of the six blood drives that your club sponsors annually. If you would like to help, contact Les or Carolyn 944-6059.

 

REGION 1 MEETING

This is likely to be the only Region or Zone meeting this year. It is your one chance to share experiences with fellw Lions from other clubs. Reservations are due by Aug 30. Meeting will be at the 1st Presbyterian Church 2431 1st street Coal Valley. Contact  Pres. Keith if you plan to attend.

DISASTER CONTACT PERSON

In order to accelerate Lions International response to local disasters each Lions club was asked to appoint a contact person. Lion Sandy Griffin volunteered to be the contact for your club. Thanks Sandy.

 

LIONS LUNCH WAGON

A new storage facility is needed for our lunch wagon and attendant equipment and supplies. Contact Jim Humphrey or Pres Keith if you have any leads for a possible site.

 

PRESIDENTS CORNER

September is here already—time to get busy with our many projects.

Candy Day will be coming shortly. I have not heard much response for the committees you would like to serve on. Our year will have to be a group  effort. REMEMBER --- "Service is the rent we pay for the space we occupy!"
