RETINAPATHY EYE SCREENING

There were 23 people who took advantage of the Lions screening program. Thanks to Lion Bill Dial and daughter in law .

INSTALLATION DINNER

Put July 24th on your calendar! Newly installed Gov. Dick Ronna will perform the honors for the 2006/2007 Geneseo Lions officers. All members are urged to attend with your spouses and family. It will be your first opportunity to welcome the new 1-H governor and your new officers!

LIONESS CLUB

It is with deep regret that the Geneseo Lioness Club has decided to disband, due to declining membership and ill health of some members. Their last meeting will be July 10. The club was chartered May 31, 1986 with 15 charter members, 5 of which are still active. The Lioness club has been very active in the community. They wish to thank the Lions Club for their support and guidance for the past 20 years.

PRESIDENTS CORNER

I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your patience and helping me through my year as president. This was definitely "on the job" training. I do have to admit it was a lot of fun. I especially need to thank Jim Zack, Les Griffin and Pat Koehler ( I sound like I'm at the Academy Awards) for all their dedication, above and beyond the call of duty to keep me from falling on my @$$.

I hope to see all of you on July 24th at the Cellar so we can encourage and support Keith in his upcoming tear as our fearless leader.
