DIABETES AWARENESSThe diabetes awareness campaign was conducted on 21 &22 April. Hundreds of flyers were distributed with warnings of the symptoms of diabetes to the public throughout Geneseo. Lions Don Wheeler and Bill Dial reported that over $800 was collected for the Diabetes Association. Thank you to all Lions and Lionesses that participated! |
TOOTSIE POP DAYSThe Geneseo Lioness Club will be conducting their annual tootsie pop fund raising campaign May 5 & 6. They need help. Call Lioness Joann Skelton at 944 3740 to volunteer your help.
RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVEThe Geneseo Lions will sponsor the bimonthly drive May 4. The drive runs from noon to six PM but the work starts at 10AM and runs to 7PM or later. Volunteers are always welcome.
PRESIDENTS CORNERThe Lioness Club is conducting their annual fund raiser this month. Their numbers are declining and they need the Lion's assistance. The Lioness Club has regularly helped us with Candy Day and this is our chance to reciprocate. Believe it or not it's that time of the year again! Dues paying time!! Your club is billed based on the June roster and our current balance in the general account is pitifully small. See Sec. Les to pay your 06-07 dues.
